I would start by downloading and installing the latest version.   Download  3.1.4 Test

Understand and thanks for the update Tim.

go here :   and look at post #26. It has the link for the .exe that will work with XP-11.

Tim is working on Plan-G to get it compatible with XP11, maybe he will give us an update on his progress....  That .exe will allow you to build your data base from XP-11, but as he says, missing some items.
I use it with 11, it works.

After you report the false positive as Tim suggested, how about going into your Settings for your anti-virus and make an Exception for Plan-G/site?

This should be what you want Tomas

Plan-G / Re: ILS Feather and Frequency - Plan-G Version
« on: February 08, 2017, 04:13:10 PM »
My ILS feathers are spot on but I agree with the duplicate frequencies of 108.7, as shown on my X-plane map.  For the purposes of XP-11 I will submit a bug report to the Navaids guys at XP.

My Pilot2ATC (ATC & flight planning program) shows the correct freqs. Plan-G (using XP-10 data) shows the duplicate, that will probably clear once the XP data gets corrected. One of my old charts shows the duplicate.

Also something strange with CYYJ, alignment of aircraft on either runway is off on Plan-g, and Pilot2ATC. If I switch to another airport its all good. Ah, problem for another day.

From what I can see Tim, nothing new for XP-11, it just sits there and works.

Nice that you got it going Don. What does the work around consist of? You should just have to hit Connect in Plan-g and off it goes.   I had a thought; After you have fired up XP-11, then Plan-g and then Connect, take a look at the top bar under DATA. I assume Display X-Plane 9/10 Data is highlighted?

Hi Don,
Just type in ClearAllSettings in the search engine (upper right of this page) and you can get the whole story.  i.e. just delete the Config file.

Plan-G / Re: YSCB shows as XSCB ??

What sim are you using?    I see Canberra, Australia as YSCB on  Plan-G, X-Plane 10 data shows YSCB at Canberra along with its adjacent heli-pad of YSCB.

Hi Grumpy,

I think your wanting to import that .fms file into XP-10 or 11.  The place in XP is the X-Plane directory  under Output/Flight Plans files. Now you can load any FMS file into the aircraft 430 or 530 GPS unit or into the FMC, if aircraft is so equipped with a FMC.  The FMC is a different item and you will probably have to take some time to learn that unit, but it does work.

Here is a guide that I found very, very , helpful when tryng to set up the 530.  Link:

It does work with XP-11 also.  See page 20 (Loading An Existing Flight Plan). Notice in the example you will see the .FMS files listed that are in the Output directory for flight plans.
Hope  I have it all correct, doing this from memory.
Don't forget to switch from Nav 1 to GPS.  You should see your flight path on the 530, and once you hit the APR on the autopilot unit it should track to destination, making turns at appropriate waypoints. Does take a little bit to learn but it will work.

What you can do, if you have XP-10 available, is point that database generation to your X-Plane 10.exe and use that database until Tim can get XP-11 worked out for Plan-G.

Plan-G / Re: Building database...

You might want to tell the fine folks here what sim your trying to build the database for.  If it is for XP-11, then for the moment point your Plan-G data requirements to the XP-10.exe. Plan-G at this point does not support Xp-11 data, Tim is working on that. Also it would be nice to know your systems specs, operating system, etc.
