SimConnect Options
« on: August 31, 2009, 08:57:23 PM »
Tim, I seem to have lost the options that used to be available from the bar below the connect/disconnect buttons. Options allowed one to show your/other aircraft on the map, show trails etc. Has it moved elsewhere, and I can't find it, or has the function simply gone?

They had to move, because Microsoft have deprecated that way of doing things, and it won't exist come DotNet 4.0. You'll now find all those dialogs grouped in a single Options dialog at the bottom of the App Menu. Click on the globe...  ;)

Well you know about me and that globe ;)

I've updated the nVidia drivers on my XP work box, no different. Works on primary display not the secondary still.

Just tried it on my Win7 RC laptop and the Globe button wasn't working at all :( Are you interested in problem reports for the Win7 release candidate?

Aaahh, the globe holds secret settings. Got my plane to show, and the map to center. Good show.

Cheers, R.
